GCET MBA 2009 - Analysis
Gujarat Technological University had decided to take GCET MBA online from the year 2009 and that was a revolutionary step. Before 2009, GCET was as traditional pen and paper type of examinational which went online from the Year 2009.
GCET MBA 2009 was not a complete online examination but it was a Computer Based Test (CBT). Student has to give answers on computer screen.
In a computer based test, students was shown multiple choice questions on computer screen and students have to choose one right question.

Total Seats available in GCET MBA 2009 was 6790 across 101 colleges. There were 9 Grany In Aid and 92 Self Finance Colleges for MBA.
Total 15066 students were appeared in GCET MBA 2009.

Analysis of GCET MBA 2009.
- Examination was conducted at 20 centers across Gujarat by taking the convenience of the students in consideration
- Every center had 50-70 computers it means maximum 70 students can give exam at a time
- Examination was scheduled from1st July 2009 to 5th July 2009
- There were separate question for each session of the examination so that the chance of copying can be minimized
- Per day there were three sessions: Session I: 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM Session II: 01:00 PM to 03.00 PM Session 3: 05.00 PM to 07. PM
- There were 150 multiple choice questions which were to be answered in 120 Minutes
- The pattern of the exam was similar to CAT and MAT but questions were easier as compared to CAT and MAT
- The exam covered various topics like Reading Comprehensions, Arithmetic, English Grammar, General Knowledge, Data Interpretation, and Quantitative Analysis
